We have reached a stage in our research & development which requires a computer vision engineer to implement a semantic segmentation algorithm to be used in an innovative diagnostic embedded system prototype.

You will work collaboratively with an R&D team of engineers, designers, research and product managers developing a product that will allow patients to manage a chronic condition at home.


What You'll Do:

  • Design algorithms for computer vision and image processing of a limited data set of experimentally collected medical images

  • Develop production-quality code

  • Document design and write unit tests

You are:

  • Someone with an interest in technology and excited by hard engineering problems.

  • Someone who has excellent communication skills and the ability to explain yourself clearly.

  • Proactive and will work to fix issues quickly.

  • Someone with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent at prioritising work.

You Must Have:

  • BSc/BEng in computer science, embedded systems or related field. We also accept candidates with equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency with Python.

  • Proficiency with OpenCV.

  • Commercial computer vision experience, ideally around feature detection and semantic segmentation.

  • Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
